So.
Day 18 this month will be my anniversary of joining DA. For that, I thought I could make a brief review. (Ha, "review"... I´m such a pr0.)

First of all I´ll have to say I can´t understand you people who leave DA bitter and pissed off and with lots of drama (and then usually come back anyway). I mean, what did you expect DA to be? I expected it to be a community where I can effortlessly upload my stuff and watch and fave others´. DA exceeded my expectations.
I understand, of course, leaving DA for personal reasons that have nothing to do with DA itself, but when that´s not the case - how can your issues be DA´s fault? Are you (or were you) here for art or for attention? If the latter, did you expect DA to be some kind of evenhanded vending machine to get that? Geez.

Ok ok, I´ll move on. Back to me. Many things have happened to me the past year, mostly good things I quess. But since most of this stuff have nothing to do with art, I´ll skip the personal news, this isn´t my blog anyway... except for one thing.
It just so happens that I have found myself someone, and after some pushing (minor and harmless of course ;D) I got him to join the party. So let me introduce you my dear ~Perifeerikko. I think he´s not bad of an artist, and especially if you feel like stalking me, I recommend to check out his stuff. (He has a habit of photographing and drawing me.)

Also, I´ve made a decision - I´m going to offer some of my still-to-come stuff as prints. Mostly photographs, but possibly some drawings/paintings as well, if they come out good enough. (Year ago I got myself a digital camera and a DA account, now I got a DSLR and a print account. What next? \o/)
This wasn´t an easy decision. For example, I don´t like the print programme´s terms of agreement all that much (did you know that if you give DA a permission to sell, say, a picture of yours which portrays a savannah, DA can add there a pink elefant if it believes the picture would sell better that way?).
On the other hand, risks of getting abused or conned especially in remarkably rude and extreme ways are probably quite low (I´m not that popular and thereby interesting a person from DA´s point of view anyway). And why not to try, seeing as the only things required from me are a permission, high-res versions and a PayPal account, and I have practically nothing to lose.
